SIBUR says to finish construction of ZapSibNeftekhim in May 2019
TOBOLSK, Jul 9 (PRIME) -- Russian petrochemical giant SIBUR plans to finish construction of petrochemical facility ZapSibNeftekhim in May 2019, CEO of Sibur Holding Dmitry Konov told reporters on Monday.
“Initially, we planned to finish the works in late 2019, but now we see that construction of the complex will be finished and the commissioning operation will start in May,” he said.
He added that capital expenditure will not top the planned budget.
The project envisages construction of a pyrolysis unit with an annual capacity of 1.5 million tonnes of ethylene, 500,000 tonnes of propylene and 100,000 tonnes of butane-butylene, as well as of units for production of various types of polyethylene and polypropylene with a total capacity of 2 million tonnes annually.
